We at Mt. Zion Community Faith Healing Restoration Project are so thrilled you chose to entrust us on your mental health journey . We are a nonprofit organization that developed in 2024. Our passion is community advocacy and education. We seek to enhance our communities lives through mental health in an abundance of ways. We offer vouchers for discounted/free therapy with some great therapists and case managers. We offer education for not only you, but people around you as well. We wish to help you develop a plan to enrich your life. Our motto is " Hand in Hand we Stand", which for us means we will hold hands and walk down this path called life with you. We invite you to look through our services and get to know our staff. We hope to meet you soon!
My Story
Rural communities face unique challenges in addressing mental health needs, particularly among families and older adults. Limited access to mental health care, stigma surrounding mental health issues, and a lack of education about therapeutic coping mechanisms contribute to significant stress and emotional hardships. According to data from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), individuals in rural areas are 60% less likely to receive mental health services compared to their urban counterparts.
Our rural Military Veterans and families as well as our youth and their parents deserve the same mental health care as our urban counterparts and that is what “Mt. Zion Faith Healing Restoration Project,” plan to do for our communities in the rural.
As Executive Director, Pastor, Retired Military, and Wounded Warrior I feel the need and see the need of our people.
